The City of Newark will be hosting the event "Newark Pop Warner Cheer Competition, Saturday, October 17, 2015, at 12 noon, at the Malcolm X Shabazz High School Athletics Complex, 80 Johnson Avenue. Pop Warner football originated in 1929 by Joseph J. Tomlin with over 250,000 youths participating in football, cheerleading, and dance programs within 43 U.S. states and countries worldwide.
The Governor has announced that a crackdown is underway for underage drinking and fake identification document uses at summer concerts, hotspots, and events during the Labor Day Weekend. There will be an unannounced enforcement at concert venues and public gatherings where young adults hang out.
The Queen of Funk Soul Gospel, Chaka Khan and Stephanie Mills, the Broadway Star of "The Wiz" performed for a sea of Fans and Celebrities last night at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) sold out show. The theme for NJPAC was to Get Social and Get Notice! For the Fans, the performance was a face to face digital engagement celebration of two Diva icons.
