Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today announced that lane closures for road and bridge construction projects on New York State highways will be suspended from 6 a.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016, until Tuesday, July 5th, 2016, in order to accommodate travelers during the busy Independence Day holiday weekend. Some work may continue behind permanent concrete barriers or for emergency repairs.
Governor Cuomo announced that a New Exposition Center, Equestrian Facilities and Expanded Concert Area Will Create A Year-Round Multi-Use Facility to the New York State Fairgrounds in Onondaga County. The plan includes 110,000 square foot exposition center, a larger festival stage to bring in larger concerts, and a Midway area to attract more 400-site RV Parks.
