The long-running spy has faced many impossible challenges in the past and notably catches the attention of the President of the United States to perform a death-defying stunt that no other person can ever accomplish. Tom Cruise, played Ethan Hunt, and long time mentor, star Ving Rhames, say their final good byes in this mission as the writers of the movie (Bruce Geller, Erik Jendresen, and Christopher McQuarrie) write in new ones, Hayley Atwell. This action epic, spy, action, adventure, thriller also introduces the importance of language and culture driven into the communications and the refusal to speak English out of respect to the woman. The Digital Spy Reader Awards has nominated this movie into 3rd place as the most anticipated movie of 2025, as the writers emphasize "our lives are the sum of our choices."
