A press release in Washington, DC with all Senators, Mayors, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, and the like has now announced search efforts to locate victims of the plane with 60 passengers and 4 crew members on board in Washington, DC is now a rescue mission. The Reagan National Airport has been closed until around 11 o'clock tonight and news reporters are being advised of the public safety for the American People going forward.
Washington, D.C. (wind) - According to the Washington, D.C. Mayor, the families of the passengers on board of the American Eagle, flight 5342, which had taken off from Wichita, Kansas, has been or will be notified promptly by the Department of Transportation Secretary today. At least 28 bodies were recovered thus far. According to the CBS News interview with Transportation Secretary, Sean Duffy, and Avitation, "standard protcols were taken by the Military communication with the Black Hawk helicopter carrying three soldiers", and the helicopter was aware there was a plane in the area by the Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
The President has been advised in the briefing room that the Helicopter was involved in a training mission, stated by Sean Duffy. What has been reported to date is that 27 bodies with one helicopter passenger have been recovered.
